Seychelles has two natural sites which are listed as the UNESCO World Heritage sites- the Vallee de Mai Nature Reserve and Aldabra Atoll.
Aldabra Atoll is one of the world’s largest coral reef which runs along 13 islands. Completely isolated, this atoll is a home to Aldabra Giant Tortoise and many other distinctive fauna species.
tVallée de Mai Nature Reserve is a home to the famous coco de mer (famous for the largest seed ever found in the plant kingdom) and five other endemic palms. Apart from flora, the park is also famous for the unique species of fauna, such as- black parrot, snails, reptiles, crustaceans etc.
